FIELD TRIPS
The Northeast Texas Children's Museum is the perfect destination for your next field trip! Our hands-on exhibits and interactive activities bring learning to life in a way that's fun, engaging, and memorable. Whether you're coordinating a school class, homeschool co-op, church group, daycare, parents' day out program, scout troop, or any other youth organization — if you have a group of curious kids, we'd love to host you!
Fees:
Students: $7 each
Teachers and group staff: Free
Family members are welcome to join the fun! Families pay $8 per person (ages 24 months and up) at the front desk upon arrival.
Note: Field trips are designed for children in Pre-K through 2nd grade. We happily make exceptions for students with special needs through 5th grade. Read more about options for students with special needs.

We know every class is different — and you know your students best. That’s why we offer additional flexibility for self-contained classes.
CHOOSE THE VISIT THAT WORKS FOR YOUR STUDENTS.
Your class can:
Join a grade-level field trip and follow the regular rotations, with the flexibility to break away, slow down, or spend more time in an area when needed.
Schedule a field trip just for your class and choose either a STRUCTURED two-hour visit with approximately 20-minute rotations or a FLEXIBLE visit that allows students to explore the museum at their own pace.
Visit on a Sensory-Friendly Monday for a quieter, lower-sensory museum experience with smaller crowds, no background music, dimmed lighting where possible, and sensory-friendly activities. These special visits are offered on select Monday mornings and end at noon.
Whether your students benefit from a predictable schedule or more freedom to follow their interests, we’ll work with you to create a museum experience that fits your class.
