Calling All Kidpreneurs! Sell Your Creations at the Bois d’Arc Bash.

Got a kid with a big idea? A budding artist, baker, maker, inventor, or entrepreneur? We want them at the Kidpreneur Marketplace, happening at the 40th annual Bois d'Arc Bash on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Commerce.

Kidpreneur is a real kids' marketplace, co-hosted by Northeast Texas Children's Museum and the Commerce Downtown Alliance, where young entrepreneurs build a business, set up a booth, talk with customers, and make real sales. Kids don't need an existing business already — Kidpreneur is the perfect reason to start one, and right now is the time to start planning.

"The goal is not perfection," says museum Executive Director Rachel Bounds. "It's to let kids experience creativity, problem-solving, pricing, customer service, communication, and the excitement of making their first sale."

Kids can sell almost anything they've made: art, photography, and crafts; stickers, cards, and paper goods; sewing, crochet, and handmade creations; original toys, games, and inventions; 3D-printed creations; plants and décor; baked goods; and handmade jewelry and accessories.

Best part? It's completely free for kids and teens to participate, and we provide the tent and table.

Registration closes September 18, so don't wait. Learn more and sign up at netxcm.com/kidpreneur.
